I am a lead engineer for DSW's e-commerce platform; hosting numerous other clients like Keds, The Shoe Company, Vince Camuto, Hush Puppies and more.

Designer Brands (DBI), previously known as Designer Shoe Warehouse (DSW), operates over 500 retail store locations and an ecommerce website that sells designer and name brand shoes and fashion accessories. DBI also runs a variety of other client ecommerce sites under the same codebase such as The Shoe Company and Vince Camuto. More sites are being actively onboarded to the platform such as Keds and Hush Puppies

Our initial lead at DBI was to improve their Google “Core Web Vitals” performance scores across the most active areas of the ecommerce site to improve their Google Search page ranking. We managed to bring the scores up from the ~7 range to the ~25 range in just under 4 months.
